You are staring at a screen right now.

Your mind is reading these words.

You are comprehending these words…….STOP

Breath in deeply and breathe out slowly.

You are aware!

We can become so engrossed in switching from task to task and trying to compartmentalize and perfectly orchestrate our life that we fail miserably.

I struggle with this, I can sit in the weeds for hours, days and even months and not be any closer to my goals.

I have overcome this though.

And I did it by setting up systems for myself.

There are things I do regardless of whether I want to do them.

This makes it so that even when I don’t feel like it, I move closer to my goals.

What is Camel Straw Syndrome?

Each of these little tasks or even big tasks that we switch between causes stress on our brain as it tries to orient itself to optimize the task at hand.

We feel each of these stresses and soon the weight grows on our mind because we feel trapped by each task yet not much closer to our goal.

These are like straw in a heavy bale upon the camel's back and finally one day we wake up and realize that our back (life) is broken and needs love and care.

Recognizing and defeating this stress (Way 2)

The way around camel straw syndrome is to build your life like a machine and ask yourself what is the desired input and output and then move whatever you have to to make that happen.

(example move appointments around, move people(yourself) around etc.)

Metaphorical Machines free your mind from having to optimize itself and motivate for extended periods of time.

The mind wants to protect the flesh and save itself at all costs which is why we must bring it under subjection.

Machines can be schedules and things that you must do at certain times. Or anything you can imagine.

Think in your mind and take notes on what you want to accomplish and how better organizing your creative flow and time can get you there.

If you are struggling to produce content it’s likely either because you are not passionate about your topic or you are lazy.

THE way out

The Son of God says: I am the way the truth and the life and no man comes to the Father but by me.

John 14:6

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. we come unto Him we shall find rest unto our souls (Matthew 11:28–3)

He has made a way of escape and has taken captivity captive.

He is the great author and finisher of our faith.

As you begin to apply His truths to your life it will produce the fruits of everlasting life.
