Finding your sweet spot through continual optimization

You will likely never be a Jordanian basketball wizz the very first time you flick your wrist to release the orange rubber sphere parabolically to attempt a goal.

But I am here to tell you that you can — through a process I call continual optimization — become good enough to at least make a few.

But who am I kidding? You probably know more about it than I do.

Let’s dive into that thing.

Anywho. To the point


Today I took an exam for a license I am obtaining and at first I was struggling to find a proctor due to my own ignorance of my options.

And I had this limiting belief that it had to be at this one location and that was stopping me from accomplishing my goal of taking the exam.

I did this for like 3 days, until I had someone challenge me on where to do it and I decided to look somewhere else.

That day I took the exam and found the proctor and a great workspace.

I blessed 3 birds with one prayer and I am so grateful.

People go through life with limiting beliefs like this surrounding everything from work to who knows what else.

Ask yourself what is something that I thought was impossible? and then ask yourself. If I had one month to do this how would I attempt it?

Come up with crazy ideas and then try to fanagle them into non crazies and keep working until you come to your desired goal.

Never let a I don’t think it could work like that stop you.

Be sure to do things properly and with excellence but also don’t let perfection keep you paralyzed.
